Randox has been added to the Department of Health and Social care’s list of private providers of Coronavirus testing.
Anyone who arrives in England* from outside the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man needs to self-isolate for 10 days. Under the scheme, on day 5, you can choose to pay for a private COVID-19 test. If the result is negative, you can stop self-isolating.
*Please refer to local government restriction guidelines for Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey.
Purchase our convenient home sample collection kit online today, take your sample in the comfort of your own home and return to Randox for analysis. Return of your sample back to the Randox laboratories is your own responsibility.
Results are available within 12-24 hours of sample receipt at our laboratories in Northern Ireland.
When you arrive into England you must isolate for 10 days unless you have a negative COVID-19 test result. You cannot leave you chosen residence for any reason when you are self-isolating.
Under the government’s Test-to-Release guidelines, you can take a COVID-19 test on the fifth day after leaving the quarantine country.
You can only end your self-isolation once you have confirmed a negative COVID-19 test result. Until you receive your result, you must continue to self-isolate.
The government Test-to-Release scheme is private therefore you much pay for a test from a private provider, such as Randox Health.
Currently, Test-to-Release only applies to England.
Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey have all released their own quarantine travel restrictions, please refer to local government websites for the latest information.
